Church of England
Journey through Holy Week with our Stations of the Cross podcast.
Recorded in 2019 by the Archbishop and Archdeacon of Canterbury, the five episodes offer a virtual pilgrimage in Jesus’ footsteps, reflecting on key moments of his journey to the cross.

Holy Places outside our churches
We have created 2 areas for prayer outside our churches: outside St Luke's, the Pamber Heath Brownies and John Pynn have built an Easter Garden, and outside St Paul's we have placed a large cross where you can leave prayers or words of encouragement. If your daily exercise takes you past either of these buildings, why not stop and add a prayer?
And in your windows at home
We encouraging you to make a colourful cross and place it in your front windows, so passers-by can see the light of hope. For more information see here.
Messy Church Families - Easter
Although we can't meet together for Messy Church for Easter, there are some excellent free resources from the Bible Society for children to learn about the Easter story.
Based on the gospel accounts, the Bible Society have done a lovely animated Easter story video for children. Three Friends and the Miracle Man imagines their journey to discovering who Jesus really is.
Alongside the video they have also developed a range of other downloadable materials including a quiz and adventure trail. Find them via the link below.
