Our church community is there to support you through all of life's major events.
Weddings at any of our Churches
It is our pleasure to arrange weddings at any of our churches, you do not need to come to church regularly or have been Christened, but usually you need to either live in Tadley, Pamber Heath or Silchester, or have done so in the past, or have some other link with Tadley or Pamber Heath.
If you would like to explore getting married in one of our lovely churches, then contact our clergy.
More information about marrying in a Church of England church can be found at https://www.yourchurchwedding.org/
In baptism, popularly called ‘Christening’, parents thank God for the gift of life, make a decision to start your child on a journey of faith and ask for the Church's support.
In baptism, we thank God for the gift of life and publicly acknowledge God's love.
Through prayer and the pouring of water over the head, God's love and the power of his Holy Spirit are given to the newly baptised, who enters into a closer relationship with Jesus.
Everyone has the right to be baptised in the parish church where they live, regardless of whether they are a regular churchgoer or not; however you will make promises to bring up your child in the Christian faith, so why not come and see how we do it?
Contact our clergy if you would like to book a time to talk about a Christening.

Confirmation is an occasion for people who have been baptised or Christened as infants to affirm that faith for themselves. Through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop, the Church asks God to give those being confirmed power, through the Holy Spirit, to live the life of following Jesus.
Alternatively, teenagers and adults who have never been baptised and who wish to make a commitment to the Christian faith are normally baptised and confirmed at the same time.

The time of death can be distressing and confusing. Our Rector and his team are available to listen, give advice at any point and to discuss funeral arrangements. It is normal in England for a family to contact the Funeral Director first but we are available whenever you contact us.
St Peter’s Church is often used by those who wish to have a burial at Tadley Cemetery. Tadley Cemetery is owned and operated by Tadley Town Council. Any questions about the Cemetery are best addressed to The Town Clerk on 0118 981 3360. Your Funeral Director will make all arrangements regarding funerals or burials.
