Rev. Canon Richard Harlow
Area Dean of Basingstoke
Rector, Tadley with Pamber Heath and Silchester
Richard moved to Tadley in 2013 to become Rector of this parish, and St Mary’s, Tadley North, and Silchester.
He was previously a NHS chaplain for 12 years in Sussex, specialising in supporting people with mental health problems.
Richard is married to Kayla. They have four grown up children and four grandchildren. Richard’s hobbies are running, squash and eating curries, though not necessarily all at the same time.
Rev. Cathy Pynn
Cathy, is married to John, a scientist, organist and DIY enthusiast and enjoys family life with 3 children and a grandson.
After retiring as Chaplain to Bradfield College in 2005, she spent 7 years as resident priest in Kintbury. In 2013 she and John retired to Pamber Heath where she is part of the clergy team particularly working in Pamber Heath.
Her passion is helping people to realise that God loves them and her hobbies are not-retiring, Sudoku, reading, singing, rediscovering Bridge and learning German.
She is a Governor of Silchester Church of England Primary School.
Rev. Pat Brown
Pat is married to Bob and has lived in Tadley since 1971 and her four children have grown up here. A regular worshipper at St Paul's Church, she felt a call to the priesthood, was ordained in June 1998 and subsequently licensed to serve as an Assistant Priest in the United Benefice of Tadley South and Silchester.
Although now officially retired, she holds the Bishop's Permission to Officiate and continues her ministry in the three churches of St Paul's, St Peter's and St Luke's.
She enjoys being a grandmother to seven grandchildren, is an active member of the Trefoil Guild and joins various activities within the U3A.
Steve is commissioned by the Diocese to lead worship in Tadley and Pamber Heath and holds The Bishop’s Commission for Mission.
He has lived in Tadley since 2006 and is married to Sarah (a real musician!) He has two teenage children who attend the Hurst School.
Prior to this he was Music Director at a large church in Farnborough, where he led worship for 18 years. He has taught in Camberley for the past 20 years where he has specialised in the pastoral care of older teenagers. He works in the Church Office at St Paul’s each week and is currently following a vocation to ordained ministry.
He has a passion for mission focused ministry, discovering and nurturing gifts and engaging young people in the gospel.
His hobbies are lots of reading, long country walks, music and keeping as busy as possible; fuelled by coffee and green tea!
