Our churches are gatherings of people from the community that meet together, both in our church buildings and elsewhere, to praise and thank God for His love and provide a platform for sharing this love with our neighbours. Our vision, and the essence of our Christian faith, is to love both our God and neighbours. St Paul helps us to understand the nature of this love; patient, kind, without envy, free, selfless, trusting, hoping, truthful, and persevering. As we all know from our daily experiences, this is not easy and we often get it wrong, but God's love for us renews, sustains, and enables us to continue afresh.
