Community Involvements.

As a church, we believe in community. We believe that the Gospel must be good news at every level, words and actions cannot and should not be separated. As followers of Jesus we must make a difference in this world and in actively striving to do this we are constantly looking for opportunities to serve others and make a difference in their lives.

Overseas

Members of our congregation regularly visit rural schools and children’s homes near Kampala in Uganda. They take clothes, school materials and money to fund projects, recent projects include solar lighting installations and boreholes.

Local

We have links with a variety of local community groups and organisations operating both within our own three churches and increasingly across parish boundaries.

Schools.

The clergy regularly take assemblies at local primary schools. These are designed to engage children by presenting bible stories and topical themes in a way that is sensitive to all, including those of other faiths.
