Our Parish

Our Parish includes the neighbourhoods of Central and South Tadley and Pamber Heath.

Tadley is situated within the triangular area bound by Newbury, Reading, and Basingstoke towns, and is mostly within Hampshire county. The Central and South Tadley area includes all parts of Tadley west of Mulfords Hill that lie south of Mount Pleasant and those east of Mulfords Hill that lie south of Silchester Road. While the Pamber Heath area includes all parts of Pamber Heath west of Impstone Road and Pamber Forest and south from Pelican Road.

Our Church of England parish is part of a United Benefice of parishes that includes Silchester and North Tadley and is part of Deanery of Basingstoke and the Diocese of Winchester.

What We Believe

We believe:

  • God loves all people.
  • God wants people to know and experience His love and share it within their communities.
  • God makes this possible freely: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Our churches are gatherings of people from the community that meet together, both in our church buildings and elsewhere, to praise and thank God for His love and provide a platform for sharing this love with our neighbours. Our vision is to love both our God and neighbours. St Paul helps us to understand the nature of this love; patient, kind, without envy, free, selfless, trusting, hoping, truthful, and perservering. As we all know from our daily experiences, this is not easy and we often get it wrong, but God's grace frees and sustains us to renew and continue practicing love.
